Paradise Cove in Malibu is my go-to spot when I need to getaway and “check out” for a few hours. Not only is Paradise Cove the best beach in Malibu, it’s one of the best beaches in Southern California. Imagine smelling the fresh sea air and gazing at the beautiful blue Pacific Ocean with a cocktail in hand and a few appetizers on the table next to you. Everything I just described sounds like a typical place in Malibu; but, before entering the $50 a day parking lot you’ll need to drive thru a trailer park. YES!!! Before you get to walk along the beach front homes of athletes, rock stars and Hollywood’s elite, you’ll need to deal with the deadly speed bumps that keep the trailer park safe. Paradise Cove Mobile Home Park, dubbed “America’s Most Glamorous Trailer Park” by the New York Times, is a sought-after location which overlooks the Pacific Ocean; and one of it’s more “famous” trailers has hit the market for $1.95 million dollars.
Fashion icon, Betsy Johnson is selling her trailer in this upscale trailer park for a reported $1.95 million dollars and will most likely get over asking price for it. This 2 bedroom, 2 bath bohemian dream was custom-styled inside and out and features lush, tropical landscaping that creates a private backyard oasis (with outdoor soaking tub and multiple entertaining areas).
