Growing up you either wanted to be like them or be with them. I’m sure I wasn’t the only teenage boy watching Full House asking my parents for a leather jacket, “just like Uncle Jesse”. These two 80’s heartthrobs have lasted the test of time, although neither seems like they’ve aged the least bit over the past thirty years; but their choice in homes and the cities they choose to reside in have come a long way from their early years running around the streets of Hollywood. Now in their mid-fifties and heading into the second chapters of their lives… they find themselves on the opposite side of real estate as one just purchased a home while the other is selling his home.
John Stamos and new wife, Caitlin McHugh, recently spent $5.75 million for a family-sized residence inside the guarded gates of Calabasas’s famously celeb-heavy Hidden Hills community. Stamos, now 55 years of age will have plenty of room to walk his newborn baby (YES!!! Newborn Baby) around the six bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms house.
Rob Lowe’s estate in Montecito, California, is going back up for sale with a new price tag. The Lowe’s whom once asked $47 million for their mansion nestled in wine country, plan to list the home again on for $42.5 million. The East Coast inspired home is 10,000-square feet and features six bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, a home theater, swimming pool and catering kitchen.
