Glendale Real Estate Firm and City of Hope in Support of Teenage Cancer

This year JohnHart Real Estate was a proud partner of Toys for Teens in support of teenage cancer patients at City of Hope. The cancer research hospital located in Duarte, CA holds an annual holiday event for the children and teens with cancer. On December 12^th, JohnHart real estate gathered their troops to raise awareness and set up a local charity event at The Famous on Brand.

As a result, there was success in not only raising awareness for young cancer patients but there were over 500 gifts collected and almost $2,000 in donations! The teenage cancer patients at City of Hope will have a blessed holiday and Toys for Teens is step closer to their goal… give a toy, give a smile, give hope.

Though all patients require the same level of attention, Toys for Teens’ focus is on the teenage patients from 13-19. Why Toys for Teens? Simply because these unfortunate teens are often overlooked. There are toys for tots, and then a whole slew of breast cancer and prostate cancer charities, but there really isn’t anything out there for patients. Toys for Teens was determined to gather gifts for these young adults and warm their hearts during this difficult process they are faced with.
