What’s now the 3rd highest asking price for of any residential Chicago property in the city or suburbs? Vince Vaughn’s triplex penthouse at The Palmolive, of course.
The 12,000 square foot triplex features 19 rooms, three floors, 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a billiard and game room, theater, a large terrace and the original, restored office that once belonged to Hugh Hefner when the Playboy headquarters were stationed in the building.
Last year Vince was trying to get a hefty sum of $24,700,000 for the penthouse, but it was never officially on the market. Now it’s official since the MLS listing was posted over the weekend for the “discounted” price of $18,400,000 and is said to be the most expensive condo sale in Chicago history.
