Date: June 7th, 2025
Location: Venice Beach, Los Angeles
Venice Pride returns this June with its signature celebration of LGBTQ+ pride, diversity, and unity – all set against the iconic backdrop of the Venice Sign and beachfront. Known for its vibrant, inclusive atmosphere, this year’s main event—the Venice Pride Block Party—takes place on Saturday, June 7, from 4 PM to 11 PM.
The Block Party is a free, family-friendly event welcoming locals and visitors alike. Attendees can expect high-energy DJ sets (including a set from Victor Rodriguez & Friends), a lively marketplace filled with LGBTQ+ vendors and creators, and plenty of food trucks offering a variety of bites. Community organizations will also be on hand, offering resources and information in a welcoming environment.
When the sun sets, the celebration keeps going with the Gaywatch After-Party at Baja Cantina from 10 PM to 2 AM. This 21+ party features beats by DJ Naté, themed entertainment, and late-night vibes perfect for dancing the night away.
Venice Pride was born out of a desire to preserve LGBTQ+ visibility in the area after the closing of a beloved queer bar in 2016. Since then, it’s grown into a must-attend summer event that celebrates the local queer community and its allies. Whether you’re dancing under the Venice lights or grabbing a souvenir like their signature lifeguard tower magnet or tee, it’s a pride experience with real heart and Westside flavor.

Great writeup on what is happening, especially Pride wise. Just as an added piece of information, Pride in Palm Springs is celebrated in November as it is much cooler at that time. The parade actually ends right in front of our JohnHart office on Palm Canyon Drive.
