Located in beautiful Ventura County, Underwood Farms is a beloved destination among Southern California’s farms and pumpkin patches. Spanning over 100 acres, this working farm offers seasonal u-pick fruits and vegetables, farm tours, and a charming petting zoo, making it a perfect spot for year-round fun!

This season, from September 28th to October 31st, Underwood Farms is hosting its 27th Annual Fall Harvest Festival with a giant pick-your-own pumpkin patch, and 5 themed weekends throughout the season. Coming up the weekend of October 26th, you can enjoy tons of fun activities including a tractor-drawn wagon ride, corn maze, Craig’s Chicken Show, animal shows, a combine slide, and much more! With fun like this for the whole family, you won’t be disappointed!

A favorite destination for families, especially little ones, the Irvine Park Railroad pumpkin patch offers more than just pumpkin picking. Cougar Mountain Pumpkin Patch is a fantastic destination for family fun in downtown Eagle Rock, CA. Known for its meticulously cared-for pumpkin fields, it’s the perfect spot to find that ideal pumpkin for carving or holiday décor. The patch also offers exciting activities like sliding down the jaws of a giant King Crocodile, racing on pedal cars, and enjoying inflatable bumper cars—no driver’s license required! Perhaps the mother of all pumpkin patches, Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch is a family-owned business established in 1987, dedicated to bringing the farm experience to the city during Halloween. Famous for its celebrity visitors and top-notch entertainment, this location is a top choice for spooky fun! In addition to fantastic entertainment like magic shows and puppet performances, they host special events including a Día de los Muertos Celebration on October 27th. With attractions like a straw maze, the Mr. Bones Super Slide, a petting zoo, face painting, and a rainbow slide, you can easily spend hours here. Be sure to plan your visit before the season ends!

Tanaka Farms in Orange County offers that unique experience! As one of the few farms in the area with a genuine pumpkin patch, it provides a variety of activities, from unlimited wagon rides to u-pick veggies. Families can enjoy the barnyard educational exhibit, corn maze, and the beloved u-pick pumpkin fields.

On weekends, a $10 parking pass is required to ensure a smooth visit, so be sure to plan ahead. With the parking lot opening at 8:30 AM and activities kicking off at 9 AM, you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy everything the farm has to offer. And don’t forget to stop by the Tanaka Grill for delicious farm favorites with a twist!
