This Las Vegas destination is filled with unconventional objects, immersive tales, and, of course…drinks! Located in the Horseshoe on the Vegas Strip, formally known as Bally’s, this mystical site isn’t your typical bar and lounge. It’s a magnet for vintage-vibe lovers and curious cats alike. From floor to ceiling, there’s no space left to waste as you’ll find all sorts of inviting objects and thingamajigs from old toys, to animal statues, and even buttons. As you become tantalized with wonderment at every angle, you’ll need something to satisfy that curious mind which is where the immersive tales come in! You simply pull out your phone, scan the QR codes and lose yourself in the interesting stories and histories told of the corresponding objects.
As if that isn’t enough, there’s also a hidden speakeasy tucked away at The Lock located within the bar/lounge. Right outside of the Lock’s door is a telephone ready to be picked up with a password to enter, but you’ll have to solve some puzzles before access can be granted. This whimsical experience wouldn’t be complete without interactive drinks. Yes, you read that correctly. On your coasters, you’ll find questions asking things like your current mood to which you can select your answer and the servers will bring you curated cocktails based on your present state of mind. You’re sure to have a memorable and enlightening experience at the Cabinet of Curiosities and The Lock.

2) Nightmare Cafe
What’s your favorite scary movie? Listen, it’s not Halloween yet, but for horror fans, the macabre is a way of life. You know who you are! And for that, we’ve got a killer recommendation that’s sure to slash all your cravings. Nightmare Cafe, located in the historic Downtown Vegas Arts District, is a hellishly good time with devilishly good food! With menu items like “Creepy Curds” and “Frankenstein’s Hangover”, there are loads of southern-inspired bites that are simply to-die-for. Come snag a seat during happy hour and choose your fate with some craft cocktails from the tarot card menu. You can even flex your supernatural smarts every other Thursday night at 7pm for horror trivia! But wait…”Have you checked the children?” The little ghouls and goblins under 10 eat for free! This Las Vegas destination is truly a frightfully fun time.
To say Nightmare Cafe is a cult-lover, cult classic would be an understatement.
3) Back to the 80s Cafe and More
Hop into the DeLorean and travel back to a simpler time of neon malls and music television. That’s right…this one is for lovers of all things ’80s. Located off the Strip in University Square, Back to the 80s Cafe and More exudes retro vibes at every turn. Upon pulling up to the parking lot, you’ll notice a large ghost-busting vehicle, letting you know you’ve come to the right place!
Along the exterior are large window graphics of music icons like David Bowie and Madonna. The interior is bright and colorful with Memphis patterned tables, 8-bit stools, and wall-to-wall movie memorabilia. No detail was ignored when it comes to this old-school Las Vegas destination. Even the menu items scream ’80s with fan favorites like the the Risky Business Burger and Tetris Tots! Yes, the tots are shaped like Tetris blocks. We love another interactive dining experience! This blast from the past makes for a funky and nostalgic outing for the whole family.

4) Zombie Burlesque
A true night of the living dead, this fun and exciting production is full of comedy, music, and the most flexible zombie-babes! The V Theater at Planet Hollywood hosts the infamous Zombie Burlesque, a comedy musical that takes place in the atomic 1950s in a world where the undead have taken over. According to vtheater.com, the premise of this dead-sexy show takes place after the President of the United States makes a deal with invading zombie hordes, allowing the living and dead to exist side-by-side. In exchange for peace, the living have promised to give the night walkers their worst criminals. Holding up their end of the deal, the zombies open up the most notorious, scantily clad club they’ve ever experienced.
With an award-winning cast of characters and live band, this campy Las Vegas destination will leave you laughing till your guts hurt. It’s recommended that ages 16+ should attend.
For the zombie aficionados AND burlesque lovers, this one is a no-brainer.
5) Millennium Fandom
Pop culture and cosplay buffs unite! The Millennium Fandom Bar is a Las Vegas destination for lovers of all things themed! Bring your fiction-fantatic friends to the Soho Lofts in Downtown Las Vegas for some delicious signature cocktails and geeky good times. This place offers a unique atmosphere and tons of awesome events like Open Cosplay, Pikachu’s Pokémon Party, and Fandom Karaoke. Among the decor are sculptures and props inspired by some of the most beloved movies, comics, and more, bringing out the inner nerd in all of us. They’ve also got themed cocktails. With such an inviting atmosphere and friendly staff, the Millennium Fandom Bar delights its patrons and provides a rare and exciting Vegas experience bringing out our most inner child.
