The Phototronic Living Home may be the house of the future with part indoor hydroponic greenhouse and part living space.
Two companies have come together and believe that indoor farming may be the future of home living. By growing your own food, many would take just one more step toward being self sustainable.
The home features an upstairs living area with two bedrooms and the lower area with sloped ceilings and roof, makes the greenhouse work letting in lots of natural light. The kitchen is downstairs so that you would have easy access to fresh fruit, vegetables and spices for your culinary dishes.
All of the material used in the build are considered mold, mildew and waterproof since there would be a high use of water indoors.
Some writers are arguing that medical marijuana growers may be some of the first to put down big bucks for the Phototronic Living Home although the intentions are for food production. But even those with a green-thumb wanting to grow tropical plants or exotic flowers may be interested.
Or, if you’re a vegetarian like me, then this may be your dream home!
