Celebrity real estate gossip on the street is that Kim Kardashian may be purchasing David Beckham’s English mansion with all of its contents… aka Beckingham Palace.
The 22 acre estate has been sitting empty since David Beckham and Posh Spice wife Victoria moved to Los Angeles two years ago when he joined the Galaxy soccer team. It seems they may have overextended a bit on the cost of living.
Word is that the Kardashian sisters may be interested in the property along with the furnishings so they would have a place to stay when they visit the UK. Sounds a little excessive. When I have friends from out of town staying with me, they can count on a queen sized air mattress.
They also may use the estate as a “small” business by renting out rooms to fans of the Beckham’s and/or Kardashians. I smell another sequel to the movie Hostel! My guess is that it will be a special season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians in London.
The cost of the Beckham estate is estimated at $28 million. They bought the 7 bedroom mansion in 1999 for $4 million but spent millions in renovations. It features a 52 foot garden pavilion, marble floor, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts, recording studio and a gym.
