Featured image credit: Robinson Gardens When searching for the grandest gardens in the United States, Beverly Hills wouldn’t be a bad place to start. Of course, that’s assuming you could see beyond the looming gates and topiary walls. Yet, one of the city’s largest, most decadent, and oldest gardens is open to the public (as […]
Seth Styles
Having spent over a decade in creative roles across a variety of industries, Seth brings with him vast experience in SEO practices, digital marketing, and all manner of professional writing with particular strength in blogging, content creation, and brand building. Gratitude, passion, and sincerity remain core tenets of his unwavering work ethic. The landscape of the industry changes daily, paralleling JohnHart’s efforts to {re}define real estate, but Seth works to maintain the company’s consistent message while offering both agents and clients a new echelon of service.
When not preserving the JohnHart essence in stirring copy, Seth puts his efforts into writing and illustrating an ongoing series entitled The Death of Romance. In addition, he adores spending quality time with his girlfriend and Romeo (his long-haired chihuahua mix), watching ‘70s and ‘80s horror movies, and reading (with a particular penchant for Victorian horror novels and authors Yukio Mishima and Bret Easton Ellis). He also occasionally records music as the vocalist and songwriter for his glam rock band, Peppermint Pumpkin.
Legendary Sunset Sound Recording Studio Fears Homeless Driving Off Business

After all, it’s where Eddie Van Halen first laid down the brown sound in the opening riffs of “Runnin’ With the Devil” introducing legions of rockers to Pasadena’s best-kept secret. In Prince’s pre-Paisley Park days, he trusted Sunset Sound when […]

Others might collect the dried husks of dead butterflies. Big ticket collectors might boast garages full of classic cars. Broke collectors might write down in a tattered notebook a collection […]

It’s one thing to get facetime on The Grammys. But when you get a shoutout on Foos Gone Wild? That’s when you know you’ve made it in LA. Such is the riches-to-rags-to-tags tale of Oceanwide Plaza, a stagnant development that has been unofficially reclaimed by LA’s art community. Once a trio of towers on their […]
Absorption Rate Analysis: January 2024 Brings a Late Holiday Gift for Buyers
We’ve come to expect lower absorption rates in January, but January 2024 more than understood the assignment. All except one neighborhood dropped further into the buyer’s favor. One dropped further toward the buyer’s favor than we’ve ever seen in a single month. Another has officially camped out at the threshold of the universally accepted buyer’s […]

Feeling Tied Down By Company Protocol? Here’s Your Way Forward
No matter what you do for a living, there’s a better than average chance you have some kind of protocol in place. Protocol sounds stuffy, overbearing, maybe even a bit on the militant side. Visions of dystopian futures grow pretty easily in the shadow of that towering word. But protocol is an integral part of […]
Exploring the Steel Sentinels of Galleta Meadows
Featured image credit: Matthew Dillon Just two hours south of Palm Springs, you’ll find a desert preserve where history loses all meaning while resonating with unusual profundity. Grizzled prospectors eternally sift through the running waters of imagined streams, prehistoric sloths lumber across arid sands, and mythical serpents swim beneath rivers of asphalt. If it sounds […]
