Even in absorption rate analysis, what goes up must come down. It just seems that someone forgot to tell a couple of our neighborhoods. But after a March when we watched every neighborhood we service surge deeper into the seller’s favor, the scales seem to be balancing again. All but two of our neighborhoods dropped […]
Seth Styles
Having spent over a decade in creative roles across a variety of industries, Seth brings with him vast experience in SEO practices, digital marketing, and all manner of professional writing with particular strength in blogging, content creation, and brand building. Gratitude, passion, and sincerity remain core tenets of his unwavering work ethic. The landscape of the industry changes daily, paralleling JohnHart’s efforts to {re}define real estate, but Seth works to maintain the company’s consistent message while offering both agents and clients a new echelon of service.
When not preserving the JohnHart essence in stirring copy, Seth puts his efforts into writing and illustrating an ongoing series entitled The Death of Romance. In addition, he adores spending quality time with his girlfriend and Romeo (his long-haired chihuahua mix), watching ‘70s and ‘80s horror movies, and reading (with a particular penchant for Victorian horror novels and authors Yukio Mishima and Bret Easton Ellis). He also occasionally records music as the vocalist and songwriter for his glam rock band, Peppermint Pumpkin.
Crosswalk Collective LA and LADOT Battle to Bring You Safe Streets
When it comes to safe streets, Los Angeles doesn’t often get a spotless report. In 2022, the city breached 300 traffic deaths for the first time in 20 years. While a lot of these can be attributed to collisions, ask any regular pedestrian about walking in LA and you’ll hear horror stories. It seems like […]
Fractional Ownership Stands to Change the Luxury Real Estate Market. Is That a Good Thing?
While some people are struggling to get housing loans for their first homes, a somewhat new business model is taking some strain out of the price on a second home. That’s great news for those in the luxury home market. Yet, neighbors of these definitely-not-a-timeshare properties aren’t quite as thrilled. It’s called fractional ownership. And […]

Los Angeles Home Spotlight: The O’Neill House Isn’t Like Other Beverly Hills Homes
Featured image credit: Edwards Design Group, Inc. With the majority of Beverly Hills homes adopting a neoclassical aesthetic, the neighborhood is lovely to say the least. It’s just not often surprising. Of course, there are a few exceptions proving the rule. For example, the Spadena witch house, which we covered in a Los Angeles home […]
