Featured image credit: mosaictilehouse_venice Everyone has been transfixed at some point or another by the cascading colors and shapes of a kaleidoscope. But living in one? That takes a special kind of person. Or, in the case of the Mosaic Tile House in Venice, a special couple of people. Not content to just create art, […]
Seth Styles
Having spent over a decade in creative roles across a variety of industries, Seth brings with him vast experience in SEO practices, digital marketing, and all manner of professional writing with particular strength in blogging, content creation, and brand building. Gratitude, passion, and sincerity remain core tenets of his unwavering work ethic. The landscape of the industry changes daily, paralleling JohnHart’s efforts to {re}define real estate, but Seth works to maintain the company’s consistent message while offering both agents and clients a new echelon of service.
When not preserving the JohnHart essence in stirring copy, Seth puts his efforts into writing and illustrating an ongoing series entitled The Death of Romance. In addition, he adores spending quality time with his girlfriend and Romeo (his long-haired chihuahua mix), watching ‘70s and ‘80s horror movies, and reading (with a particular penchant for Victorian horror novels and authors Yukio Mishima and Bret Easton Ellis). He also occasionally records music as the vocalist and songwriter for his glam rock band, Peppermint Pumpkin.
The Top 25 Agents of Q1 2024
Our founder, broker, and CEO Harout Keuroghlian said it best: “Making money in real estate in the last 10 years was like going to the beach, throwing a rock into the water, and then being proud of hitting the water.” Many real estate agents will need to be reminded of this over the coming months. […]
The Jacaranda Trees Are About to Bloom Again. Here’s Where to Find Them Around LA.
It’s almost that time again. A point when the city itself seems to blossom in a violet-blue phantasmagoria of botanical beauty. A spectacle as aggressive in its vibrance as it is delicate in its serendipitous sensibility. Just as a watercolor bleeds beyond the audacity of a penciled boundary, the languidly waving blossoms seem to blend […]
Los Angeles Palm Trees, the Ultimate Transplants, Could Be Moving On
For those not born in LA, the first moments of arriving in the city typically result in some cognitive dissonance. Especially the closer you get to Hollywood. Yes, the tourist hub of the city is a bit more in-your-face and raw than the silver screen leads you to believe. But you can’t fault anyone for […]

Southern California Beaches Set to Lose Shark Alert System in Place Since 2018
Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water. Southern California beaches could be a bit riskier this summer. A state-of-the-art shark alert system manned and monitored by a skeleton team in Long Beach is running out of funding. With California unable to contribute, researchers are turning to the private sector […]
Absorption Rate Analysis: March 2024 – The Market’s Warming Up Further for Sellers
Now these are some numbers that look familiar. The housing market has spent a couple of months in the wake of the holidays stretching out of hibernation. But March’s nearly straight run of surges brings us back to very familiar territory. Maybe painfully familiar for buyers. It was a month that saw neighborhoods surging further […]
Los Angeles Architecture 101: Spanish Colonial Revival Architecture
Are you having deja vu? We’re having deja vu. But it’s understandable; Spanish Colonial Revival architecture is awfully similar to Mission Revival architecture, which we covered in our Los Angeles Architecture 101 series last May. And somewhere, an architect is fantasizing about strangling us for the oversimplification. In our defense, experts will surely agree that […]
Top Billing Entertainment is Choreographing the Future of Theater from Glendora Village
All photos: Top Billing Entertainment One could be forgiven for wanting to lapse into song and dance when strolling down the topiary-lined streets of Glendora Village. But despite its splendor, Glendora is far from a Hollywood musical (literally about 35 miles give or take). Yet, there is one hallowed building where you’re not only free […]
Will a Las Vegas Firm’s AI Agent Change the Way We Use Real Estate Agencies?
As technology-based as our industry can be, it’s no wonder we found a way to hop on the artificial intelligence craze. But could AI feasibly replace flesh-and-blood real estate agents? It’s a question you may want to pose to Luxora. That’s the name Las Vegas’s Luxury Realty Group gave one of its newest recruits: a […]
