While there’s no better city for gambling than Las Vegas, it may be better to hedge your bets this Valentine’s Day with a lovely evening at a restaurant guaranteed to make hearts flutter. And if a few stomachs growl in the process, all the better. We’ve assembled 12 of the most romantic restaurants in Las Vegas, listed here for your convenience. But full disclosure: you’ll probably need an ace up your sleeve to get a reservation at one of these spots this close to the big day!
Barry’s Downtown Prime
8 Fremont St, Las Vegas, NV 89101
Serving as the Circa Resort & Casino’s steakhouse, Barry’s Downtown Prime is easily one of the most lauded steakhouses in the Las Vegas area. And while steakhouses don’t necessarily make the most romantic restaurants in Las Vegas, Barry’s exudes an accessible midcentury sexiness that makes it a perfect spot for date night. The charm of vintage Las Vegas can be found in the glint of the flattering lighting hitting the antique mirrors. Or the rich stained walnut wood playing off the gilded ceiling. Or even the deep red velvet booths, embracing you and your sweetheart in a surprisingly intimate dining experience for a restaurant located on the old Strip. To guarantee a swoon-worthy evening, reserve a seat in the Garden Room well in advance. This seats you in an intimate dining area beneath the canopy of an indoor olive tree accented with frosted glowing bulbs.
Bramàre
3900 Paradise Rd, Ste H, Las Vegas, NV 89169
If you’re in the mood for sophistication without the stuffiness, Italian tapas eatery Bramàre satisfies with its casually sexy atmosphere and relaxing ambiance. A subtle moodiness lends to the romance with warm somewhat dim lighting playing off stark brick and dark rustic accents. Bramàre’s menu largely consists of plates perfect for sharing, leaning into a closeness that allows you and your date to get fully absorbed in one another, despite the often lively crowd.
Casa Playa
3131 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109
Romance doesn’t have to come at the cost of playfulness. Enter Casa Playa: flavors inspired by Mexican coastal cuisine in a tropical environment. As soon as you walk into this intensely exotic example of the most romantic restaurants in Las Vegas, you’ll be greeted by a scowling stone idol head begging you to click your heels three times while wondering if you’re still in Vegas. But as you’re escorted into the spacious and flowing dining room with an ever-falling rain of marigolds, you’ll remember that no other city in the U.S. could match this decadence. Plus, Casa Playa’s seafood selection continues to be a crowd-pleaser and is delightfully shareable, making it a perfect date night choice.
Delilah
3131 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109
Embracing a classy 1950s supper club atmosphere, Delilah at the Wynn may be the most gorgeous restaurant on the Strip. Art deco chandeliers cast a champagne glow over a lounge tastefully designed by Hermes. This leads to dual staircases terminating in a dining area seemingly propped up by twin gilded palms. The food is great, but the ambiance truly has that Midas touch. A pair of stages keep the entertainment flowing at this hopping lounge that seems to have been kissed by Venus herself. With an essence like that, the romance is built in.
Eiffel Tower Restaurant
3655 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109
We’ll be frank; the Eiffel Tower Restaurant makes our list of the most romantic restaurants in Las Vegas because it’s 110 feet above the Strip, providing some truly breathtaking views. The French cuisine is just a bonus. The restaurant itself has a highly amorous atmosphere with a silky soft glow caught like gossamer in its chandeliers. And that’s fantastic, but if you look just out the window, you’ll see the Bellagio Fountains. And, sure, you can line up with the tourists to watch them at ground level. But have you really seen the Bellagio Fountains if you haven’t seen them from 100 feet up?
Harlo Steakhouse & Bar
1720 Festival Plaza Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89135
Another steakhouse makes our list of the 12 most romantic restaurants in Las Vegas and this one also gives us a rosy look back at the vintage golden years of Las Vegas. However, what immediately sets Harlo apart is that it’s literally set apart… standing nowhere near the Strips new or old. Rather, it’s situated in Downtown Summerlin, making it perfect for a romantic evening without the need to dive into tourist territory. Other than that, you get all the hallmarks of a classic Strip-style steakhouse experience: cozy booths, moody chandeliers, uplit indoor trees, and world-class cuisine. Plus, the crawling green vines adorning both the exterior and interior add that extra touch of swank.
Hugo’s Cellar
202 Fremont St, Las Vegas, NV 89101
Is Hugo’s Cellar the best restaurant in Las Vegas? It’s an honest possibility, but today we’re specifically talking about the most romantic restaurants in Las Vegas. And, even then, Hugo’s is at the top of the list. Hugo’s Cellar drips class, old-school sophistication, and the color red, from its exposed brick surfaces to the rose handed to each woman who enters the establishment. This tried-and-true steakhouse still prepares the lion’s share of its most favored entrees (as well as its salads) tableside, harkening back to the days of sterling service that built the city’s gilded reputation. There’s a reason why, after all these years, Hugo’s Cellar is still one of the top-rated restaurants in Vegas.
Mizumi
3131 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109
The first Japanese restaurant to make our list of romantic restaurants, Mizumi is a fantastic option for something a bit more exotic than your classic steakhouse. However, you better be ready to pay for that distinction. One of several restaurants on our list of the most romantic restaurants in Las Vegas to be located inside the Wynn, visitors to Mizumi tend to have no regrets, but admit that those sushi rolls can add up quickly. If you’re dining with romance in mind, be certain to book your table far in advance. You’ll want a seat by the restaurant’s 90-foot waterfall, cascading over rocks into a tranquil koi pond. It doesn’t get more romantic than that.
Mother Wolf
2777 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109
Las Vegas boasts some of the best Italian cuisine in America, but Mother Wolf takes things a step further by offering traditional Roman cuisine. Some of these recipes even date back to ancient times! But we’d expect nothing less from the culinary creativity of chef Evan Funke who you may recall from Chef’s Table on Netflix. Surprisingly, Mother Wolf is also one of the more affordable restaurants on our list. Of course, its popularity is through the roof, so you’ll need to reserve your table well in advance. But when you do get in, expect the meticulously detailed authentic cuisine to pair well with the restaurant’s chic decor within the stunning Fontainebleau hotel.
NoMad Library
3772 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109
Offering a rejuvenated take on American cuisine, NoMad Library doesn’t get too adventurous with its menu, which could be a good thing if you’d prefer to keep your attention on the date itself. That’s not to say the food isn’t worth the price of admission. The establishment’s signature dish is like an elegant answer to the turducken: an entire roasted chicken packed with foie gras, brioche, and decadent black truffles. Despite the menu’s American focus, the atmosphere recalls a stately library in an old British manor, complete with antique books packed into floor-to-ceiling shelves of stained wood. The onyx bar adds a degree of sexiness that’s unnecessary but appreciated. And the hall of busts devoted to iconic women in gambling artfully balances progress and history in a way that exudes class.
Rivea
3940 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89119
Offering the French Riviera by way of Vegas, Rivea also leans into Mediterranean cuisine. For something a little different, try to book a table on the west side of the dining room. This will give you a stunning view of Red Rock Canyon across an expanse of the Mojave from your seat 64 floors above the city. Not that Rivea isn’t stunning enough without its view. Soothing champagne bubble lights play off a tasteful blue and white dining area for a simple, yet elegant atmosphere that lays the groundwork for a romantic evening.
Top of the World
2000 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89104
You knew it would be making an appearance. No list of the most romantic restaurants in Las Vegas would be complete without Top of the World. The food is… largely forgettable. But a 360-degree view of the city from 800 feet up is something no one ever forgets. No matter where you sit, you can expect a great seat with the restaurant making a full revolution every hour and 20 minutes. The romance doesn’t get much higher.
