Imagine all of the tastebud-tantalizing flavors of Old Town Monrovia competing for attention. That’s the basis for Taste of Old Town Monrovia where the best Monrovia restaurants and vendors produce their most palate-pleasing plates and bottomless beverages for your enjoyment. Variety is the spice of life, so live it up against the beautiful backdrop of Old Monrovia as you sample a seemingly endless parade of creative cuisine.

More Than a Meal

But the 10th annual Taste of Old Town Monrovia is serving more than a meal. Expect a performance from Monrovia’s favorite fusion band, The Delgado Brothers. They’ll be returning to the Taste of Old Town Monrovia stage to keep your toes tapping with a tasteful blend of blues, funk, and rock sure to help you dance off that second dessert.

Your ticket also gets you a custom wine glass to commemorate the evening. And you’ll have plenty of opportunities to fill it through the night. You’ll also find photo opportunities at the souvenir photo booth and the chance to socialize with your Monrovia community on a delightful October night. And, believe it or not, it gets better…

It’s All for a Great Cause

All proceeds from the Taste of Old Town Monrovia event go to a fantastic cause. The annual event raises funds for the Kiwanis, an organization devoted to enriching the lives of local youths through a series of inspiring programs. If you’re unfamiliar with the Kiwanis, the well-established volunteer-led organization helps children around the world with branches in over 80 nations. Globally, they raise over $100 million annually towards the betterment of youth, supported by 18.5 million volunteer hours.

The Monrovia Branch of the Kiwanis is well known throughout the community, hosting yearly events like their Cornhole Competition to raise funds for children in need. Rest assured that your ticket to the Taste of Old Town Monrovia buys you more than a delicious meal from the best Monrovia restaurants. It buys opportunities for countless children as well.

We’ll See You There!

Finally, make sure to purchase your tickets in advance! You won’t have a chance at the door and the event is expected to sell out. JohnHart Real Estate (and the best Monrovia restaurants) looks forward to seeing you on Myrtle Avenue for a Taste of Old Monrovia! Make sure to say hi to our talented Monrovia agents Gina Ammon, Donna Baker, and Gina Labellarti… in between bites, of course.
