Producer and director Pierre Spengler previously listed his home for sale and now has also listed it for rent.
Pierre Spengler has produced many films since he began his career in film in 1964 but he is best known for producing the first three “Superman” films, starring Christopher Reeves. He has also worked on movies like “Santa Clause”, “Unleashed” starring Jet Li and Morgan Freeman, and “Revolver”.
Spengler recently listed his Glendale, Ca. home for sale for $1,400,000. According to records, the producer bought the home in 2003 for $615,000. He listed the home for the first time in July for $1,450,000 then dropped the price $50,000. By the end of August it was at $1,375,000.
There are 3,715 square feet of living space which include 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The home is on a private 1.5 acre of land and was built in 1956. The mid-century single story modern home sits on a promontory offering expansive views.
The home features two fireplaces and hardwood floors. The kitchen includes granite with butler’s pantry and separate breakfast area. There is a private gym, pool, and a detached building with two offices.
This month the house is still listed for sale but Spengler also listed it as a Glendale rental until he gets a buyer. The rental price for the higher-end Glendale neighborhood home is $5,750 a month.
