Female Entrepreneurs Get a Rare Opportunity with JohnHart’s Ladies in Leadership Event

Like any proud father, JohnHart CEO, founder, and principal broker Harout Keuroghlian wanted his daughters to rule the world. Yet, looking around the real estate industry and beyond, he witnessed an overwhelming resistance stacked against female professionals. Sure, many still managed to overcome it. But the lack of justice incensed him. Then, he had a revelation. While his own dreams for his daughters had always been clear, what they really needed from him was understanding. They needed him to hear their dreams, goals, and aspirations. And so, Keuroghlian determined the most powerful way to assist women was to listen. Thus he started the Ladies in Leadership initiative: an organization devoted to funding female entrepreneurs and professional women in the ways they deem fit. And it all begins with the upcoming Ladies in Leadership event.

JohnHart Presents Ladies in Leadership

Mark your calendars for Thursday, April 13th at 6:30PM. That’s when JohnHart will present the Ladies in Leadership event: a unique opportunity for female entrepreneurs, executives and professionals to network while enjoying inspiring talks from keynote speakers and panelists. Taking place at Vertigo Event Venue, the evening promises hors d’oeuvres, an open bar, and plenty of opportunities for career connections. And while the event has a decidedly female focus, men can also attend to show their support.

The Beginning of the Ladies in Leadership Committee

JohnHart Presents Ladies in Leadership” is the first in what is shaping up to be a long line of events coordinated by the Ladies in Leadership committee. This sub-organization of the Keur Foundation was formed right here in the JohnHart offices following an impassioned email from Keuroghlian.

In that email, he implored JohnHart staff and agents who believed in empowering women to volunteer. The initiative would be devoted to addressing many of the common problems faced by women in their professional fields today. After a highly productive Thursday morning meeting, the Ladies in Leadership committee was officially inaugurated.
