As is tradition with the real estate & lifestyle website/blog Curbed Los Angeles, every year they choose one neighborhood within the confines of Greater Los Angeles and present it with what they call the “Curbed Cup.” This year the honor was bestowed upon none other than Glendale, CA.
While the city has been experiencing an increase in popularity since Rick Caruso opened the Americana at Brand several years ago, this past year was impressive in it’s own right. In 2013 alone several hundred apartments were developed and opened, thousands more have been planned, and the iconic Glendale Galleria experienced a major overhaul.
Additionally Glendale’s property values have appreciated by roughly 10% in the past twelve months, and demand for property in this foothill community is near all time highs.
With a bustling downtown, award winning schools, and beautiful homes, it’s no surprise to us that our founding city has received this award; and frankly we’re glad that this little-known city is finally receiving the attention it deserves!
