Is Lisa Vanderpump leaving Bravo’s reality show ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’?!
‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star Lisa Vanderpump and her restaurateur husband Kenneth Todd sold their Beverly Hills mansion.
So what does this mean for the show? Lisa Vanderfancy, who Camille Grammer so appropriately called on the last episode, may be walking away from the mansion but she is not walking away from the 90210 zip.
If it’s even possible, Vanderfancy (who I must admit, shyly, is one of my favorite Housewives – let’s keep the fact that I watch the show just between us!) and Todd have already replaced their ginormous Richard Landry designed French chateau style mansion known as the ‘Beverly Park’.
The couple bought the ‘Beverly Park’ back in September 2004 for $14 million. When Vanderfancy decided to sell, it floated as a very quiet pocket listing with an asking price of $29 million. The buyers and final sale price are undisclosed but there are reports that it sold for somewhere in the ballpark of $19 million.
The titanic estate is 17,000 square feet big on 2 plus acres and was built in 1996. There are 7 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms according to the listing information. But city records show 8 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms…which ever you go with the house is BIG….HUGE.
The details of the extravagant estate are endless; I don’t think there is enough character space on this page to include them all. Rather, view the pictures below, but here is a taste.
The entry way features a curved staircase that leads to the formal entertaining rooms. These rooms are decorated in colors like pink, silver, and white. The non-formal spaces include an office, game room/den, a chief style kitchen, and wine cellar with tasting room.
The master suite is 2,500 square feet with a massive closet. Everything in the master bedroom and bath is white and pale pink, including the cabinets. Impeccably manicured grounds, gardens, swimming pool, tennis court, topiaries, meandering paths, etc., etc., etc.
The couple wanted to “downsize”, if you want to call it that, because their two kids have moved out for good and Vanderfancy says it’s just too big for them.
“We had such a great offer on the house, one we couldn’t refuse,” Lisa says. “It’s 17,000 square feet and my daughter, Pandora and son, Max, already moved out of the nest. So it’s just Ken and me and it’s really too big for two people.”
The new mansion is 10,000 square feet and rumor has it they bought it for $12 million.
“We found a beautiful, 10,000-square-foot home in Beverly Hills which I adore,” Lisa says. “I’m never happy with anything I buy. As a designer, I like to design things my way just Villa Blanca restaurant and my new bar SUR. The new house needs extensive remodeling to suit me and my husband’s needs.”
Looking forward to seeing footage of the new property on the show 😉
