For all you ‘Glee’ fans out there Kurt Hummel isn’t just moving on and leaving the show but he’s moving on out!
Chris Colfer (Kurt Hummel) has been a fan favorite on the successful show ‘Glee’ for its first three seasons. It’s been reported that he will not be returning for its fourth, sadly. So he’s moving on and moving out to his newly purchased home high above Laurel Canyon.
I’m sad to report that Colfer’s new house is not as glorious as his signing voice. The property definitely can use some TLC. The rising star dipped into his trust and took advantage of the market. He bought the house out of foreclosure which explains the purchase price of $860,000…and possibly the condition.
Records show that the sellers purchased the property two years ago for $1,323,000. The three-story hillside house was built in 1963 and measures 2,462 square feet. This “contemporary” house’s bedroom and bathroom count is not so clear. Some listings indicate there are 2 bedrooms and 2.75 bathrooms and others show 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms.
The three levels connect with a curved stair case. The main living area includes the living room, dining room and kitchen. There are sliding glass doors that lead out to one of the decks. The kitchen looks like it was remodel but it should not be labeled as such. Hopefully it will be gutted and brought to Hollywood star standard.
If you are reading this Chris please make note – you must hire a fabulous decorator and creative architect to beautify this place inside and out! I have faith you have done so already because there is no way you can keep this place in its current state. It’s just not right.
