In what could only be describes as shrewd real estate deal, Donald Trump (Yes, we are talking about the 2012 presidential candidate), managed to pickup the esteemed Kluge Estate Winery and Vineyard (in Virginia) for less than 10% of the original list price! You read that figure correctly. 10%! Originally listed for $100M, and being foreclosed on for $15.26 M last month, the infamous real estate tycoon managed to purchase the 23,500 Sqft. manor for a little over $6M.
He has stated that he will continue operations at the winery and everything will remain the same, including Patricia Kluge staying on staff, except the name will be changed to Trump Wine. Whether Trump’s investment, and wine, will turn sour is something that we will all have to wait and see about; but if his Vodka is any indication of what can be expected of his vino, then we will be staying away!!
Who knows maybe he will have this seasons Celebrity Apprentice winner run the vineyard for him!
