JohnHart’s New Real Estate AI Coach Thinks Beyond the Chatbot

While so many real estate professionals have been worrying whether AI will take their jobs, JohnHart Real Estate has been considering the most practical ways to use AI to enhance our agents’ careers. And we’ve given a name to everything we’ve learned on this mission. Her name is Jane Hart: an AI coach that actually learns and evolves from agent engagement, building upon a solid foundation of knowledge provided by our broker and staff of experts. But what does that actually mean? It means we’ve built a custom real estate AI that doesn’t just save time. It learns an agent’s individual strengths and areas for improvement, using it to strategically shape the most efficient path forward with real counsel and quantifiable action plans.

JohnHart’s obsession with technology has never been a secret. This perhaps became most evident in 2017 with the introduction of our custom-built CRM. Rather than purchase a pre-existing real estate CRM or go the white-label route, we wanted a CRM that could evolve not just with a changing industry, but with the radically diverse needs of our agents. Because of this flexibility, agents can actually guide our CRM to conform with their personal preferences. This same philosophy guided the way we approached the development of our real estate AI, Jane Hart (often simply referred to as “Jane”).

Meet Jane Hart: Real Estate AI That’s More Than a Chatbot

We’ve paid close attention to how the real estate industry engages with AI, but we’ve never seen anything that touches what Jane can do for an agent. A JohnHart exclusive, Jane learns through her interactions with JohnHart’s custom CRM and the agents who use it. This isn’t a garden-variety chatbot. She studies habits, assessing an agent’s strengths, preferences, and areas for improvement before providing guidance tailored to the individual.

While Jane tailors her responses to the agent, she’s also learning from multiple valuable sources: our broker, our management team, our support staff of experts, and other agents who use our evolving real estate AI. Because of this, Jane can do everything an agent could want, from reviewing complex contracts to predicting who will be the most likely person in their database to sell their home next.

AI With Purpose

While several companies have been dabbling in real estate AI, JohnHart’s founder, CEO, and principal broker, Harout Keuroghlian, clarifies that Jane was developed with purpose rather than to meet a trend. “The goal was never to build AI for the sake of saying we have AI,” explains Keuroghlian. “We wanted to see if we could build something that operates more like an experienced coach sitting next to an agent every day; one that understands both how to grow the business and how to manage the business once a client is in escrow.”

JohnHart’s mission has long been to “redefine real estate”, using technology and innovative thinking to return focus to the client. Jane is the next logical step in this mission; a utilization of AI’s benefits in a way that makes sense within the context of our brokerage’s focus on agent support. By building our own customized real estate AI, JohnHart not only meets our agents’ needs to the letter, but we also enjoy the flexibility to pivot at a moment’s notice (and often ahead of the rest of the industry).

Other Ways Jane Serves Our Agents

Always learning and ever-evolving, Jane tends to highlight the strongest opportunities for an agent’s professional growth, offering real-time guidance supported by quantifiable data. Therefore, Jane can do too much for us to possibly list in a single blog, but some of her skills include:

(1.) Identifying network connections that need attention.

(2.) Flagging overlooked opportunities.

(3.) Reviving stale listings.

(4.) Organizing and strategizing engagement with an agent’s database.

(5.) Marketing that gets attention.

(6.) Counseling on open house best practices.

(7.) Managing transactions.

(8.) Structuring deals.

(9.) Advising agents on solid next steps.

(10.) Building, structuring, and managing a robust pipeline.

(11.) Sending daily reminders and prompts that align with proven success.

While other real estate AI programs focus on drafting emails, summarizing notes, and organizing prospecting sessions, Jane leans harder into creativity and strategy to develop a personalized playbook for each of our agents based on their individual goals. And the more that an agent uses Jane, the more it learns about the agent, continuing to improve processes and evolve.

Jane Doesn’t Work Alone

With access to JohnHart’s custom-built CRM, Jane also has access to the company’s treasure trove of innovative tools that we use to give our agents an advantage in competitive markets. For example, Jane can access Inventory Identifier (a feature that uses predictive AI and proprietary data to predict when a home is most likely to hit the market again) and Buyer Match-Seller Match (an engine that uses data to highlight the strongest buyer and seller matches across JohnHart’s collective database).

And we’re adding new features to our CRM all the time, based on new technological capabilities and our agents’ needs. This access enhances Jane’s creative strategy and bespoke guidance, leveraging not just an agent’s skills but the power of JohnHart’s accumulated network of systems. Our real estate AI also has insight into specific deals, allowing Jane to efficiently guide an agent’s next steps with data-supported intuition in the context of the agent’s growth trajectory. In a brokerage that prioritizes measurable agent growth, Jane’s ability to customize its advice on not just an agent-by-agent but a transaction-by-transaction basis was non-negotiable.

See Jane for Yourself

Jane makes her official debut on Wednesday, August 26 at JohnHart NEXT, an exclusive event at an as-yet-undisclosed location in the Los Angeles area. It’s worth noting that Jane Hart is an AI coach built specifically for JohnHart Real Estate’s agents and will not be available outside of the brokerage. However, interested parties outside of JohnHart can still score an invite to meet Jane by RSVPing
